If you are looking for a more miomechanical answer, in my opinion? it helps stretch out some deep neck muscles when my tongue is folded.

This really was one of the first videos I have tried that focused on breath that truly has been able to “take me out of my head” (since I am in emotional crisis currently? and am struggling to stop focusing on the pain). Thank you, much love

Folding your tongue helps is calming the mind.? It reduces Pitta Dosha and reduces pain in general. That’s why in Ayurveda and Yoga Sitali with folded tongue is used as a remedy against headache
