Absolutely brilliant.I am fairly new to hooping but am hooked. Great tutorial and more important for me? was the fact you said, “Why”?…How the whole hoop movement experience feels is a massive part for me. Thankyou 🙂

I love this! I do a similar isolation on the outside of the hoop, but never thought to try it inside and it looks amazing! Can’t wait to practice this! Thanks for another amazing tutorial!? 🙂

If you’re lighting that hula hoop on fire, this would be a useful move as to where exactly to place your hands and how to keep it controlled so? you don’t burn yourself. Thanks again Leo!

I try this? a lot but my hoop is just being stupid! Its more like flipping side to side, I just can’t seem to get it to stay up/down!! *frustration*

Thank you for your response, but rats! How much harder(in terms of keeping it up I suppose) is hooping with a lightweight? hoop vs. a heavyweight?

Reply

TheSpinsterz November 14, 2012 at 3:21 am

I imagine your? hoop is too heavy. A lighter hoop is so much easier for manipulation type work.

I have a question about hoop weight, my hoop is a standard heavyweight, also I have only just started attempting this, but I cannot for the love of me hold the hoop steady.? Do you just make it look way easy or am I handicapped, or is my hoop too heavy, etc?
