my friend tells me that if you watch the burning magnesium then when your older somewhere in your 40s then youll have eye problems…is this true?

Maybe, but you’ll definitely have eye problems immediately AFTER you stare into burning magnesium if you do it for too long. I knew a guy that stared into a magnesium fire at a festival and went blind for a about 2 days.

probably not but you will get a banging headache at the time from the glare so why would you want to do it.

Burning magnesium produces uv – rays without proper eye protection you can permanently damage your retina. The condition caused by burning magnesium is referred to as “Welders eye”.
