@sam421kc you should look at something distant for 30 seconds every 30 mins while on a computer

Let me add, that if you wish to “clear your Snellen”, I would recommend that you go to “YouTube” and then type, “Myopia Prevention”. You will see all the reasons why you would wish to “improve” your vision, and never start wearing an over-prescribed minus lens. Take a look!

Rather than say, “Improve vision”, I suggest reading your Snellen, to confirm your success — DIRECTLY. But I enjoy your presentation. Bates was correct, that with wisdom, it is possible to clear your Snellen from 20/60 to nomral (pass the DMV), by your own efforts.

@sam421kc For some, that might be considered long. It kinda is too. Im only 14 and dont care much about science. If your eyes ever hurt from computer, take a break. Especially if your looking at the screen in the dark. I’d suggest not going back on until your eyes feel better. Its different with a tv, because all the light from the screen doesnt right to your eyes, because your further away from it. I dont exactly believe you can fix your eyesight. You should be fine as long as your careful.

Who is Dr. Bates? I think he was Norman Bates’ father.
But seriously I’m glad it’s working for you and I will check it out. Thanks

@Montazeraan Not true, eye doctors will always be needed especially for those who contract certain eye diseases. And even still they are needed to test your eyesight in the first place to even see if you need glasses.

@biku009 There are no guarantees at all. and you should be under the care of your eye doctor. Many have claimed that they have improved their vision. Everyone is different however. And there is no way to guarantee that you will have results! Good luck though. I believe that personal effort has a lot to do with it. … much is up to the person!

They don’t want to do the research because if that is true ,the “Eye Doctor” isn’t needed anymore!

the hard part is staying consistent with the exercises. If you can give it 30 minutes per day, that is probably your best shot. But try not to skip any days.

The Bates Method really works. I tried it on my daughter who was 4 at the time. The Opthamologist diagnosed her as having +4.25, +3.25 in each eye. She was hyperopic and amblyopic also. After starting eye exercises with her and only after 3 short weeks of doing them every day for 30 minutes a day, I noticed a DRASTIC change in my daughter’s eyes. She had 20/20 at a second dr’s visit.

Bates 1913 study was about reading your Snellen. The study was SHUT DOWN because it was rejected by the majority-opinion. This is not fair, and it is not right. Prevention is indeed possible. Otis

So basically, your video is suggesting/talking about alternate eye treatments such as eye exercise,

Well it’s about eye muscels right? well if your eyes get assistance from glasses they are obviously gonna get lazy, so wearing glasses only assist, but probably make worse in the long run, Im 22 yo and my vision horrible especially in my right eye can hardly see out of it, im going to do eye exercise from now on and see how it goes.
any other suggestions let me know as it would change my life

TimesOfPeace: A series of relaxation eye excercises. They take about a half hour to maybe even an hour out of your day, but I’m sure you can find them on google.

But to anyone who wants to try this, you have to be commited to it. It won’t happen over night.

I dont understand…. I mean I got what he says, but what is it that will do so that you get a better eyesight

Again, I do not make claims that it will work for others, I’m just saying that it seems to work to some degree for me.

Also, it might help me to keep my vision from getting worse – and that would be valuable to me.

At one time I had a presecription for -3.5 in one eye and -3.25 for the right eye.

Now I have a prescription for -2.5 in both eyes.

However, I do not make any claim that it will work for anyone else or that it works at all. visionimproves . [com} for mor einfo
