I work on a computer almost everyday. What can I do to help decrease eye strain and irritants (dry eye, burning etc) while working on the computer?

The only thing I have found that really works is just taking a break. If you can manage to squeeze in 5-10 minutes every hour or two, it will make a world of difference.

I also try to look at other parts of my desk as frequently as possible.

And sometimes I just take a few minutes and close my eyes, that kinda helps.

every few minutes its good to relax your eyes by looking away. stare at a certain point far away for 30 sec-1 min. every hour stop for about 15 minutes. close your eyes for a few minutes……… thats what i do
