HMO plans frequently offer the greatest discounts, but patients will only be covered if they remain within the designated network of service providers. Meanwhile, a PPO also involves a provider network. However, patients can select exterior care provides, which will result in less cost covered. A third option is an Indemnity Health Insurance Plan. Since no provider network exists, you must determine if the cost of travelling to avail of a network provider is worthwhile.
